Crystal Dalkin, HRC
Crystal Dalkin is a Wellness Way Health Restoration Coach. From a young age Crystal loved athletics. Her two favorite sports to participate in were gymnastics and diving. Crystal spent hours in the pool and weight room as a collegiate diver at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee while studying Spanish to provide medical interpretation and translation services in hospital settings. Nutrition was always a big focus for her as she realized the impact it had on her ability to perform in her sports. Crystal struggled with chronic issues like allergies and asthma beginning at age 9. As Crystal got older these issues continued to worsen, and new health concerns of autoimmunity surfaced. After multiple tests and second opinions, she became increasingly frustrated by the recommendations made. Crystal wasn't the only one in her family suffering. Crystal and her husband have three children. Two of their children had received significant medical diagnoses. One child was diagnosed as a type 1 diabetic. The other was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder level 1 and anxiety. She felt her family's health was falling apart but couldn't understand why. Healthy food was a high priority for them. She made well rounded homemade meals while other parents ran their kids to get fast food daily. These struggles fueled her investigation for answers. She wanted nothing more to feel better and help her kids live better healthier lives. The research eventually led them to The Wellness Way in Waukesha. The Wellness Way's unique approach fascinated Crystal. By utilizing this approach, she began to feel like her athletic and energetic self again. In 2021, she enrolled in the Wellness Way Academy to study to become a Health Restoration Coach and has been utilizing those skills to help her family and community since. Crystal loves being in nature and dancing. You will often see her outside with her morning coffee in prayer, camping with her family, hiking with friends, enjoying the water, volunteering at church or teaching ZUMBA classes.
